Patrick - Entfield

I was born March 3rd, 1962 in Châtellerault, France, but I lived in Cambrai till my father died in a plane crash in 1966.

From as early as I can remember, I've always wanted to travel.
As for photography, I switched my Kodak instamatic to my first 24X36 Reflex at the age of 15.

In 1983, my first trip was financed by the pictures I sold to a couple of magazines ("Libération" and "L'Equipe"). Since then, my main obsession when I'm back in France, is saving money for my next trip.

Patrick - Thar desertAfter three trips to the United States, I discovered India in 1984.
In 1990, I went touring India on a Royal Enfield motorbike for a year.
Altogether, I spent two years in India.
Later on, I did the same kind of tour in Australia, one year around on a motorbike and a memorable month spent with an aboriginal community of Arnhemland.

One of my best memories is in 1988, when I crossed Borneo Island by foot and by boat with dayak indians.

Patrice - ThulumI spent a month on a malysian boat, known as a" junk" in the South China sea and two years in South America, experinced the revolution in the Philippines in 1986 and the war in Kashmir in 1990, learnt scubbadiving in the Maldives Islands, travelled to Mexico, Sri Lanka...

Memories add up and so do my pictures.
Recently back from New-Zealand, I now have 25.000 photographs.

And there is Gabriel, my son (a good memory from Goa, India), 5 years old and of course Cécile, his mother, my wife, my "muse"...

Since 1994, we've been selling our pictures with only one idea in mind : taking off for new adventures...
